o Overview:

This is a school especially for doctors, which will really equip them to be effective clinically and as missionaries in the nations. We want to present medical missions in a new way through the school, by creating teams of doctors doing missions in mobile groups in the nations.

We aim to equip doctors clinically to work in poorly resourced environments as well as offering team based opportunities for doctors who want to go into missions.

There will be a lot of clinical content related to applying our skills in poorly resourced areas and opportunity to learn new clinical skills important for missions.

The school will be 6 months in length, 3 months will be classroom work at the base in Perth and 3 months will be on outreach in the nations!

The Perth base is busy and growing, running 30 schools and 19 ministries!

The first school will start in October 2008 and will run every October.

o Who Should Attend:

A degree in medicine is necessary to do the school as well as Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM which is an amazing time of drawing close to God and learning more of His character and ways. Appropriate for junior graduates as well as specialists.

The school will be in English and we would LOVE to see doctors come from many nations to join together in missions, including many from Singapore!!
